We have taken a bit of time to re-organise the Portal.  Nothing major, but we hope that the downloads of Cadcorp products, Add-Ins (formally known as mini-apps, GISLinks, General Downloads etc.), Libraries and Documentation is now easier.

All downloads are now grouped by version number, so it should be easier to understand and locate the relevant downloads for the version of Cadcorp SIS or GeognoSIS you are running.  All of the relevant GISLink applications for a particular version are now simply listed under the Add-In Programs for that version.  All downloads now operate through links, rather than download buttons and multiple pages of downloads have been removed; all possible downloads are now listed on a single page.

The download of products is also easier, with direct links to the most recent versions of the software, once approved, from the front page of the Portal. 

Exisiting users of mSIS can download and use this version with their exisiting licences.  All portal users who want to evaluate mSIS can download this version, which will run for 30 days from installation.

Cadcorp is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of mSIS, the Cadcorp SIS Mobile Information System.

This release of mSIS 6.3.1303.246 includes some minor bug fixes, but also includes the capability to take and link photos to features captured in the field.

The popular Cadcorp SIS Routing Tools have been updated to include the following functionality:

• Find My Nearest - finds route from position to nearest item on another overlay;
• Isochrones - create buffers showing what parts of the network can be reached;
• Link Points - finds routes between a single point and all points on a selected overlay;
• Match Points - finds routes between points which are matched by attribute value;
• Measure - find lowest cost route between two points;
• Multi-Point Routing - creates matrix of travel costs between a set of From points and a set of To points;
• Route Directions - generate a set of route directions from one point to another;
• Settings - principally for defining routing formulae, No Go areas and copy attributes from chains to links.

The release of SIS 7.0 SR1 is scheduled for later today.  All Portal users will be advised when they can apply for this release through email later today.

Cadcorp is pleased to announce the forthcoming release of Cadcorp SIS 7.0.1058, the first service release of Cadcorp SIS 7.0.

Release is planned for 22nd December 2009.

In advance of this release, there is some important information for users.  Cadcorp advises all users intending to upgrade to read this information in advance of the release.
